Description
Poet and lecturer in creative writing at Liverpool John Moores University. His collection of poems 'physical' (2015) was the first poetry collection to win The Guardian First Book Award; it was also shortlisted for the Costa Poetry Prize and longlisted for The Dylan Thomas Prize. Contributor to The Guardian and The Independent newspapers. Founding editor of Cake Magazine.
