Singer, songwriter, composer. LGBTQ and AIDS activist. Founding member of the People With AIDS Self-Empowerment Movement, and author of the book 'How to Have Sex in an Epidemic: One Approach' (1983) and 'Surviving Aids' (1990). Died of AIDS.
