Description

King of Spain. Though married, his homosexuality was common knowledge at the time. Nicknamed the impotent king because of his use of this as an excuse to divorce his first wife (Blanche II of Navarre); his second wife (Joan of Portugal) gave birth to a daughter (Joan), but it was argued by rebels that she was in fact the daughter of the Duke of Alburquerque, which was subtly confirmed when she had two children with the nephew of a Bishop.
