Description

President, Northern New Mexico College (2010-2015). Former Vice President for Minority Affairs and Diversity at the University of Washington in Seattle (2001), Associate Vice President for Multicultural Affairs and the Chair of the Chicana Studies Department at the University of Minnesota (1996-2001), and with the University of Iowa in various administration positions (1982-1996). Noted feminist latino academic and for her work in diversity in higher education. Member, LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education. Also known as Nancy 'Rusty' Barcelo.
