Description
LGBTQ rights activist and member of the Venezuelan National Assembly (since 2016) who is among those who worked with Leopoldo López to create the left-leaning Voluntad Popular party in 2009. First openly-gay politician elected to the National Assembly. Served a two and one-half year prison term for participating in an opposition political march.
