Singer, songwriter, and musician with many top hits and albums. Known for his synthetic pop compositions and performances, through the group 'Soft Cell'. Notable hits include 'Tainted Love' and 'Torch'. Later formed the group 'Marc and the Mambas' (1982), and then went solo with notable albums 'Enchanted' and 'Tenement Symphony'.
