Filmmaker and producer, notably for the films 'Swoon' (1992), 'I Shot Andy Warhol' (1996), and 'Savage Grace' (2007). Professor, Columbia University School of the Arts and the European Graduate School. Founding member of the AIDS activist collective Gran Fury.
