Olympic Gold

Description

Gymnastics competitor, winning the Gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in floor exercise and competed at the 2000 Olympic Games. Also won the 1994 European Champion on floor and was the first Greek gymnast ever to medal at the World Championships (1994, Silver medal). A gymnastics hall in his hometown of Thessaloníki has been named in his honor.
