Description

Stand up comedian, known as Jackie 'Moms' Mabley, who was the first female comic to earn a living as a stand-up comedian. Born Loretta Mary Aiken. Recorded more than 20 albums of comedy routines. Appeared in movies and television shows. Subject of a documentary called 'Moms Mabley: I Got Somethin’ to Tell You' which aired in Autumn 2013 on HBO television network.
