Description

Member of the National Assembly of Ecuador since 2017, being the first transgender member. Founder of the LGBTQ rights group the X Silhouette Association. First transgender woman in Ecuador to legally change her name, is currently suing the Ecuadorian government for refusing to fully acknowledge her gender identity on legal documents.
