Presenter and regular panelist on many TV and radio shows in UK. Author of several books for children and adults, and her biography 'Between the Stops' (2021). Currently presents 'The News Quiz' on BBC Radio 4 and '1001 Things You Should Know' on Channel 4. Chancellor of the University of Portsmouth. Awarded the OBE in 2013 for services to broadcasting.
