Description
Sculptor whose sculptures and paintings stand as monuments to the nation’s persecuted LGBTQ+ community. Lesbian active in the underground LGBTQ+ (known in Ugandan as “kuchu”) scene. Her sculptures carry the name of a Ugandan clan – there are 52, named after “animals, plants, mountains, objects”.
