Description
Executive Director and founder of Ukraine’s trans advocacy organization COHORT. Advocacy revolves around three central aims: destigmatizing transness by educating members of the nation’s press; constructing a database of friendly medical professionals who could serve as expert advocates in the political battle to depathologize trans identity; and helping members of the community find footholds in the nation’s workforce. Representative of the transgender community on the Ukrainian National Council on HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis. Formerly with the activist organizations Insight, and Trans Coalition. Transgender.
