Description

Jewellery designer for Cartier, who established his own atelier in 1974. Known for his design of the Cartier Love Bracelet, the company's all-time top seller. Recieved the Coty Award for jewelry in 1974. Also employed by Tiffany and David Webb. In 2012, Cartier produced an exhibition of Cipullo’s work. In 1988 the Men’s Fashion Association paid Cipullo tribute when it renamed its Lulu Award for excellence in fashion journalism to the Aldo Award. Died of AIDS.
