Description

Theatre and silent film actor. Notably for her stage characters in Henry Ibsen plays. Produced and wrote many of her own films, notably 'A Doll's House' (1922) and 'Blood and Sand' (1941). Romantically involved with many other female actors of her generation, including Dorothy Arzner, Mercedes de Acosta, and others. Also known as Alia Nasimoff.
