Description

Used his legal background to advocate for greater rights for homosexuals, and works to remove government legislation which advocates against homosexuality. Organized groups, writes and advocates extensively. Co-founded the Spanish Gay Liberation Movement (Melh), the first Spanish gay group (1970). In 1978 he was the first person to come out publicly in Spain, doing so in a television interview. Considered an expert on history and genealogy. Often writes under the pseudonym Roger Gaimon. Recipient, Medal of Honour, City of Barcelona.
