Description

First Nigerian to declare his homosexuality on television, on a talk show, becoming a gay rights activist in the process. Several attempts on his life. Has continued his advocacy on gay rights within migrant African communities through the Kaleidoscope Trust as Director, Africa since 2011. Former actor on a major Nigerian soap opera prior to coming out. Founder and Executive Director (2005-2007), Independent Project for Equal Rights-Nigeria. AIDS activist.
