Description

City Councilor, city of Augusta, Maine, since 2013. Former Democratic Senator of the Maine State Legislature, being the first openly gay member (1990-1996). Former Maine State Treasurer ((1997-2005) and Director of the Main State Housing Authority (2004-2011). Member, Maine Women's Hall of Fame. LGBTQ activist, and former co-founder and President of Equality Maine.
