Description

Founding editor of Identity Kenya, and the Denis Nzioka News Agency and Service, an LGBT and sex work news agency and service. LGBTQ activist who was the first gay man to appear on Kenyan TV without the benefit of anonymity. Editor of the book '#RafikiZetu: Kenyan LGBTIQ Stories, As Told By Allies' (2019), a collection of opinions, plays, short stories, photos, and poems by straight allies, and features a black and white historical and current photo album telling different stories of queer organizations, stories, and events. Consultant editor for the Gay Kenya Trust's human rights publication My Way, Your Way, or the Rights Way (2011). Unsuccessfully ran for the 2013 Kenyan Presidency.
