Cambridge scholar of Greek and lecturer in political science (1886-1920). Associate of the Bloomsbury Group, and friend of writer E. M. Forster. Lecturer at the London School of Economics. Notable books include 'The Greek View of Life' (1896) and 'A Modern Symposium' (1905). Also known as Goldsworthy Lowes Dickinson, or Goldie.
