Description

Colorist for the comic book industry, which has led to several industry awards. Chair of the Illustration Department of the Maryland Institute College of Art. Has co-written (with Alan Moore) two illustrated books, of which 'The Mirror of Love' is a love poem and a detailed history of homosexuality, prominently featuring famous figures in art and literature. As an illustrator he is best know for his collaborations with Alan Moore on the books 'Promethea, Voice of the Fire' and 'The Mirror of Love'. Completed the graphic novels 'Gone to Amerikay' (by Derek McCulloch and Colleen Doran) and 'Get Jiro' (by Anthony Bourdaine, Joel Rose and Langdon Foss). Also known as Jose Villarrubia.
