Description

Comedian, radio DJ, television entertainer. Notable for his BBC radio shows, the 'Kenny Everett Video Show' on Thames Television, and the 'Kenny Everett Television Show' on BBC, all of which were often deemed controversial due to their racy content and sexy dancers. Considered an influential Radio DJ of his time being, for example, the first to play The Beatles’ Sgt Peppers and an early friend and supporter of Freddie Mercury. One of Britain's first prominent figures to die from AIDS-related complications.
