Description

Visual artist, writer, LGBTQ activist and filmmaker. Main subjects are PrEP, HIV stigma/criminalization and the preservation of gay history. Film work has been exhibited at the American History Museum, the Leslie Lohman Museum, The Hammer Museum, Trinity Church, the Highline, Frameline International LGBT Film Festival, United Nations AIDS Conference, and Oslo Film Festival. Advocacy work has been featured in New York Magazine, Vice Magazine, Salon, Out, The Advocate, The Huffington Post, Slate, Mashable and Logo. Projects include 'The Father's Project' (2017, which looks at what the LGBTQ community would be like if AIDS had not happened and taken prominent individuals) and his documentary 'HIV Is Not a Crime' (2012).
