Description

Transgender baritone opera singer. Transitioned in Germany after joining several companies in the country, with roles which had grown to the toreador Escamillo in Bizet’s 'Carmen' in Karlsruhe and the four villains in Offenbach’s 'Les Contes d’Hoffman (The Tales of Hoffmann)' at Opernhaus Wuppertal. Made her American professional debut (and opera history) after transitioning in 2013 from male to female in Mozart’s 'Don Giovanni' at the Tulsa Opera in 2019.
