Description

Dancer and choreographer. Notable productions include 'A Chorus Line' (1975), for which he won Pulitzer Prize for Drama (1976) and was the longest running broadway production in history. Recipient of seven Tony Awards, including 'Dream Girls' (1981), 'Follies' (1971) and 'Promises, Promises' (1968). Original name was Michael Bennett DiFiglia. Died of AIDS.
