Poet of radical black lesbian and feminist subjects. Founded the Black Women's Revolutionary Council in 1980. Notable works include 'Child of Myself' (1972) and 'Movement in Black' (1978). Also notable for her powerful performances of her work. The The Pat Parker/Vito Russo Center Library is co-named in her honour.
