Description

Born in Germany as Lotte Reyersbach, emigrated to Great Britain prior to World War II. As a nurse, became involved in the HIV charity Terrence Higgins Trust. Was also a long time activist in the Campaign for Homosexual Equality and the Gay and Lesbian Humanist Association. Secularist and humanist, being a long-time supporter of the Gay & Lesbian Humanist Association. Co-founder of Hyde Park Gays and Sapphics which, from 1982, for over 20 years, championed public outreach on LGBT issues, addressing crowds at Speaker’s Corner, Hyde Park.
