Has held teaching and research positions in numerous universities around the world, and received numerous awards. Author of fiction, textbooks, and articles on the subject of sexuality. Helped establish the 'Institute for Gay and Lesbian Education'. Notable books include 'Gay, Straight, and the Reason Why: The Science of Sexual Orientation' (2011).
