Description

Songwriter, singer for the group The Smiths, followed by a solo career after 1987 known simply as Morrissey. Noted as an innovator in the indie rock scene and often considered an icon of the British music industry. Has had several relationships with men. Often caused controversy as an animal rights activist, as an anti-monarchist, and has been accused of racism, which he rejected. Recently published his autobiography, titled 'Autobiography' in which he revealed his same-sex relationships.
