Description

Involved in the Women’s Rights and LGBT Rights movement. Arrested in 2015 on International Women's Day when protesting discrimination against women in China. In 2007 and 2009, she initiated and organized performances of “The Vagina Monologues” in Wuhan. In 2010, she became a core team member of the LGBT organization “Wuhan Rainbow”. Currently works as a PR manager and on-location host for Queer Comrades founded by Xiaogang Wei, and also takes up the position of project manager in the Beijing Gender Health Education Institute.
