Author, poet, journalist.  Distinguished Lecturer, Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures, The City College of New York.  Poetry collection won Colombia's national poetry award (1975).  Author of the books 'Like This Afternoon Forever' (2019), 'My Night with Federico García Lorca' (1995), and 'Cervantes Street' (2012).  Partner was painter [[Bill Sullivan]].
