Description
Green Party member and party leader who was state secretary in the Brussels Capital Regional Government (2009-2014), former board member of the Flemish Community (2009-2014) and councilor in the City Council of the City of Brussels (2000-2013). As Secretary of State he oversaw Mobility, Civil Service, Equal Opportunities and Administrative Simplification for the Brussels-Capital Region. As a board member of the Flemish Community Commission (VGC), he had the powers of Culture, Youth, Sport and the Civil Service. LGBTQ activist. Elected to Brussels Parliament in 2009 and reelected in 2014, but resigned his various positions.
