Photographer and performance artist, noted for chronicling the realism of the punk scene through photographs, often with Polaroids. Known for doing tricks under the name 'Mark Dirt'. Died of AIDS. Subject of numerous retrospective books, including the recent 'Mark Morrisroe: Mark Dirt' (2013)
