Description

Former member of the Connecticut State House of Representatives (1987-1991), and came out as gay in 1990. Notable for sponsoring a bill legislating against discrimination against homosexuals. Executive Director for the Connecticut Civil Liberties Union (1995-2000). Worked with the Human Rights Campaign. LGBTQ activist. Also known as Jo Grabarz.
