Description

U.S. director of the Asian Development Bank, which works to foster economic growth in the Asia-Pacific Region, since 2021. The first LGBTQ person of color as well as the first gay woman with the rank of ambassador. Previously appointed to the bank’s board of directors by President Bill Clinton and has also served as CFO of the Millennium Challenge Corp., budget director at NASA and acting budget director at the Treasury Department. Until August 2016, she was the Senior Vice President for a tech startup, Amida Technology Solutions.
