President, Roosevelt University, Chicago since 2002. Professor of History, and author of the book 'The Administration of British Foreign Policy, 1782–1846'. Formerly with University of Maryland, Bowling Green State University, and University of Colorado. Member of the Point Foundation Board of Governors, and Co-Chair of the LGBTQ Presidents in Higher Education and a Board Member of National Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) and a Board Member and Treasurer of Services and Advocacy for Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender Elders (SAGE).
