Description

Professor of mental health and diversity at the Institute of Psychiatry at King's College London (2008-2011). The first gay president of the World Psychiatric Association (2013). Former president of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. Contributor to numerous newspapers. Recipient of a CBE (2012). Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, the Royal Society of Medicine, the Royal College of Physicians, the Faculty of Public Health and the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
