Description

Award winning poet. City of Toronto's third poet laureate, 2009. Professor of English, University of Guelph. Visiting distinguished professor at many universities. Won the Governor General's Award for poetry for 'Land to Light' (1997) and the Trillium Award; the City of Toronto Book Award for 'What We All Long For' (2005); the Griffin Poetry Prize for 'Ossuaries' (2011). Other books include 'The Blue Clerk' (2018).
