Description

Author of books on the history of the LGBTQ community, and Head of Book and Serials Acquisitions at Robarts Library, University of Toronto. Liaison librarian for Sexual Diversity Studies at the Mark S. Bonham Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies at the University of Toronto. His books include 'Lesbian and Gay Liberation in Canada: A Selected Annotated Chronology, 1976–1981' (2017), 'A Brief History of GAY: Canada’s First Gay Tabloid, 1964–1966' (2003), and 'Lesbian and Gay Liberation in Canada: A Selected Annotated Chronology, 1964–1975' (1996). He also compiled and edited Jim Egan's memoir 'Challenging the Conspiracy of Silence: My Life As a Canadian Gay Activist' (1998).
