Description
Hurler who played as a goalkeeper for the club Cloyne and county Cork. Chairman of the Gaelic Players Association who is outspoken on player welfare. First openly gay elite Irish athlete when he came out in 2009 in his autobiography 'Come What May'. Sports columnist for the Irish Examiner. A few years later, his brother and fellow hurler Conor Cusack, also came out as gay.
