Novelist who, along wither her partner Violet Martin, wrote fourteen stories under the pseudonym 'Somerville and Ross'. Suffragette. Books include 'The Real Charlotte' (1899), and 'The Experiences of an Irish R. M.' (1899). Artist, and illustrator of sporting and children's books. Also known as Edith Somerville.
