Description

Executive Director, Family Equality Council, an organization fighting for the equality of LGBTQ families. Founded the God and Sexuality National Academic Conference. Has worked on numerous campaigns to achieve equality, including marriage equality, ending LGBT youth homelessness, and ending bullying. served on the boards of the LGBT Religious Archives Network, Nehirim: LGBT Jewish Spirituality (where he was also a faculty member), and Congregation Beit Simchat Torah (CBST), one of the country’s oldest and largest faith-based LGBT organizations, known for its work furthering civil rights. Served as Director of Development and Communications at CBST, where he ran an $18 million capital campaign.
