Description

Executive Director and Co-President, Hot Docs Film Festival, since 2021. Former Executive Vice President, English Language Services, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (2013-2018), giving her responsibility for CBC-TV, CBC News Network, the documentary channel, Radio One and 2, cbc.ca, other digital operations, and more than $750-million in annual spending. Formerly Chief Business Officer, Art Gallery of Ontario. Prior to the AGO she was CEO of Edelman Canada. She served as an Executive Vice President of Marketing, Creative Services & Public Affairs Broadcast Group at Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc. (2001-2007); as an Executive Vice President of Corporate & Public Affairs at TD Bank Financial Group; and for consulting groups including Hill & Knowlton, The Neville Group, and Public Affairs International. She is one of Canada's Top 40 Under 40 and is on the board of American Express Bank of Canada, IGM Financial (2010-2013), Samara Foundation, and the Walrus Foundation. Selected as one of Toronto’s 50 Most Influential: people who changed the city in 2014. Recipient of the Bonham Centre Award (2016). Partner is film producer Patricia Rozema.
