Description

Philosopher, literary theorist and critc. First Austrian female to get a Doctorate degree. Contemporary of Friedrich Nietzsche. Forcibly admitted to a psychiatric institution for 27 years where she continued her writing. Had a live-in relationship in Dresden with the opera singer Therese Malten.
