Description
Actor and theatre director. Associate artistic director of Pregones Theater, New York City. LGBTQ activist for AIDS education and prevention. Created the Asunción Playwrights Project to showcase Latino works that deal with queer identity. Recipient of the New York PRIDE Award for his advocacy on behalf of the Puerto Rican LGBTQ community, among other awards.
