Actor and comedian, known for her work on the television comedy series 'Laugh - In' (1969 - 1973) and the Netflix show 'Grace and Frankie'. Five-time Emmy Award winner. Two-time Tony Award winner (Best Actress in a Play, 1986; Lifetime Achievement, 1977). Grammy Award (1972, Best Comedy Album). Notable for her roles in the films 'Nashville', '9 to 5', and 'The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe'. In 2014, she was given Kennedy Center Honors and in 2017 she received the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award. Outspoken advocate of feminist causes and gay rights. Married to writer Jane Wagner.
