Commonly referred to as the 'father of the skyscraper' and the 'father of modernism', was part of the Chicago School of architects. Co-Founder of the architectural firm Adler Sullivan. Coined the phrase 'Form Follows Function'. Recipient of the AIA Gold Medal.
