Active member of the National Consumers League (NCL) arguing for minimum wage laws, secretary of the Women's City Club of New York (WCCNY), and head of the Women's Division of the Democratic National Campaign Committee. Active in developing and promoting the New Deal under President Roosevelt's administration. Also known as Mary Williams Dewson.
