Description
Manager, German Women's National Football Team from 2016 to 2018, and after serving as Assistant Manager. Former professional soccer player with several European and North American teams. Subsequently worked as a football administrator and was in charge of organizing the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany. UEFA European Women's Championship winner (1996, 1997, 1998) and FIFA Women's World Cup winner (2003). Olympic Bronze Medal winner in 2000 and 2004. Ambassador, UEFA Women's EURO 2013. Author of her biography 'Der Kick des Lebens' ('The Kick of Life', 2007).
