Description

Interior Designer with his firm Thinc Design who has designed a whole range of museums, visitor centers, zoos, aquaria, art installations and cultural attractions, from New York City, San Francisco, Miami and Chicago, to South Africa, Holland, Viet Nam, China, the Middle East and beyond. Projects include the redesign of the Empire State Building's Observatory, the Sustainability Pavilion at the Expo 2020 in Dubai, the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, and the Steinhart Aquarium at the California Academy of Sciences. Former Theatre Stage designer. Associate Editor for 'Curator: The Museum Journal'. He also taught at the Rhode Island School of Design and Pratt Institute, NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program, and the Department of Architecture at the University of California, Berkeley. Also known as Thomas Hennes.
